Dry Ice

Product Code: HE1233000

Description

Dry ice is vital for many activities and great fun when used safely. Always ensure a responsible adult is in charge and never allow the use of dry ice unsupervised. Always handle dry ice with protective gloves or use a scoop. Always use in a well ventilated area. Always keep dry ice in the polystyrene box supplied. Always replace the lid after use. Store dry in a cool place out of direct sunlight. Do not open until you are ready to use. Do not place in any airtight containers; dry ice sublimates quickly and will rapidly build up pressure. Supplied as 9mm food grade, dry ice pellets, shipped in polystyrene containers (10kg filled weight). Sufficient dry ice for experiments over 2 days. Delivery: Delivered Tuesday to Friday. Important: When ordering please specify the day you require the ice delivered. To create the perfect fog effect add hot water to dry ice in the ratio 1 litre to 200g of ice. The fog can be a small table top effect or something to wow an assembly - just scale up. The white fog created is an aerosol of tiny droplets of water that refracts the light and this is why it's white - just like a real cloud! Add flavoured squash to create a fruit cloud. The instructions within the Hardware pack show how to make soap bubbles, metal scream, learn about fire extinguishers, hovercrafts, vortex rings and Newtons third law applied to plastic bottle rockets. UK delivery only.
